Who we are and what this covers

This policy explains how Energy Mark collects and uses personal data through this website, including the POC request form and the job application form. It does not cover test data processed by Energy Mark software on a client's premises. That is covered by our data protection page and by each client contract.

What we collect

• POC requests: your name, work email, company, team, product family and message.
• Job applications: your name, email, location, the role, your CV or profile link, and your message.
• Technical data: standard server logs kept by our hosting provider, such as IP address and browser type, used to keep the site secure.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.

How we use it

• To reply to your request and arrange a POC.
• To assess job applications and contact candidates.
• To keep the website secure and working.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Legal basis

We process personal data because you asked us to contact you, because it is needed to consider your application, or because we have a legitimate interest in running a secure website. Where the law requires consent, we ask for it.

Who we share it with

Form submissions are delivered to us through Formspree, our form provider. The website is hosted on Cloudflare, and fonts are served by Google Fonts. These providers process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service. We share data with others only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• POC requests: for as long as we are in discussion, and up to 24 months afterwards.
• Job applications: up to 12 months after the role is filled, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its use, or withdraw consent. We follow applicable data protection laws, including the EU and UK GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, where they apply.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in other countries. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer under applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
